Surveys

Organize photos within projects using surveys. Group by site visit, inspection type, or date for structured documentation.

Last updated: April 18, 2026

Surveys group photos within a project. Each survey holds up to 200 photos and can generate its own PDF report. Most teams create one survey per site visit, one per inspection area, or one per inspection type.

What surveys do

Start by creating a survey inside any project. Give it a name that reflects how you want to deliver the work, like "Site Visit, March 15 2026" or "Building A Exterior." For larger teams or long-running projects, organizing surveys covers the patterns that scale: per-visit, per-area, and per-type structures. As work progresses, managing surveys covers editing, viewing per-survey statistics, and deleting.

Common survey structures

Different workflows call for different survey structures:

  • One survey per site visit. Create a new survey each time you visit a job site. Name it with the date.
  • One survey per inspection area. Split a large site into areas like "Building A Exterior" or "Parking Structure."
  • One survey per inspection type. Separate "Roof Inspection," "Foundation Assessment," "Electrical Walkthrough."

Each survey generates its own report, so organize based on how you want to deliver documentation to clients.
